Frequently Asked Quesions

What should my athlete bring to camp?

Players should wear their Beach Baseball Camp team t-shirt and hat each day of camp which they will receive the first day. Players should bring their own bat, glove, helmet, cleats, sneakers, baseball pants, batting gloves (optional), filled water bottle, sunblock and lunch. Water will be on site to refill bottles. Players are not allowed to share equipment. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.

What should my athlete bring to eat?

Each player must bring lunch (lunch will not be provided) that will not need refrigeration. Athletes' lunches will be stored in a cool, dry location. If desired, they should also bring a drink along with their filled bottle of water. There will be plenty of water breaks. Lunch will take place inside an air-conditioned building.

What time should my athlete report to camp and when do I pick them up?

Each player should report to camp NO EARLIER than 9am and NO LATER than 9:15am. Camp will start at 9:30am SHARP. It is imperative that each player gets a full warm up as not to cause injury.

Each player should be picked up at 2pm SHARP (or 3pm SHARP when camp ends later). In the event there is a late pick up, a charge may incur at the rate of $25 every 15 minutes late. There is a charge for the field permit based on time; therefore, pick up must made timely.

What happens in the event of inclement weather?

In the event there is unfortunate weather, the camp WILL RUN. The weather will be checked in advance to do our best to prepare for inclement weather and notify if camp will be held indoors. You are expected to send your child to camp with cleats AND sneakers. With inclement weather, camp will operate inside. There is sufficient room for teaching the game, training drills and discussion. Again, please send your child with cleats and sneakers EVERY DAY.

In the event of a possible cancellation NOT DUE TO WEATHER, an announcement will be made on our website home page and you will receive an email, text via communication software and/or phone call to the phone number(s) that you provided on the registration form. There will be no refunds for any act of God, unless the entire week has to be cancelled due to extenuating circumstances out of our control.

What amenities are offered?

Fully equipped bathrooms, running water, and a first aid station are available. There is a full baseball field, a baseball practice infield, and a full softball field for use. Also, there are bullpens, and a full sized batting cage. Lunch will take place inside an air conditioned building. Also, there will be video sessions that will take place inside in a classroom.
